After starting my career in 2004 as a PPC specialist over the last seven years I have broaden my horizons in both digital, and search engine marketing and have significant experience of managing search engine optimisation programmes for businesses of all sizes. I have gained experience and knowledge of the most advanced SEO tactics and strategies and built highly successful results in the most competitive of markets such as car insurance and injury compensation.
As an SEO professional I think it is important to both keep up with the industry changes and advancements, as well as contributing your own thoughts on the matter. Can you really call yourself an expert in SEO, if all you do is regurgitate what Rand Fishkin of SEOMoz, or Dave Naylor of Bronco, say on a matter? I don’t think so. Due to the relatively closed door policy of Google on the subject of SEO everybody, no matter how experienced or well respected, is guessing as to how best to improve a particular websites rankings or what the latest algorithm change is related to. It all really comes down to the individual opinion of the SEO in question. Obviously the more experience you have to call on, and the more tools at your disposal, the more likely you are to get it right. Its important to have an opinion, I like to think it’s one of my strengths!
