Hello there and welcome to This Digital Life! My name is Robert Weatherhead and I have been working in Digital Media for the last 5 years. On This Digital Life I write about the issues affecting the world of digital media, search engine marketing, social media and other issues relating to online in general.

Why should you read what I write? Well hopefully I’m saying something interesting. I try not to regurgitate too much which you can find elsewhere and add my own interpretation to general news postings. I have a fair bit of experience for a market so young and have always tried to put a lot of thought into what I do and consider the broader implications rather than just going with the flow.

Working for one of the UK’s largest Digital Marketing Agencies, Latitude Group Ltd, as Operations Director providing pay per click and seo for small businesses" href="http://www.latitudegroup.com/express/pay-per-click/" target="_blank"> search engine optimisation /a> for small businesses through Latitude Express ,  provides me insight and access into industry perception of events and the opinions of other digital marketers.  But obviously, anything I write on This Digital Life represents my own personal opinions and not necessarily those of my employer.
